Machine Vision & Automation FAQs

Explore answers to frequently asked questions about our machine vision, precision automation, and intelligent data solutions.

What kind of machine vision algorithms do you use?

We deploy a combination of classical vision techniques—such as pattern matching, blob analysis, edge detection, and OCR—alongside advanced AI models for object detection, classification, and segmentation. The choice depends on product type, speed requirements, and inspection criteria.

Lighting and environmental factors are critical to accuracy. Shadows, glare, inconsistent illumination, or dust can degrade image quality. We design controlled lighting setups and use optical filtering to ensure consistent, repeatable results in challenging production environments.

Yes. Vision Core is designed for seamless integration—inline with conveyors, robotic systems, and automated reject mechanisms, or as a standalone inspection cell. It supports standard industrial communication protocols for connection to PLCs, SCADA, and MES systems.

Machine vision acts as the “eyes” of automation, providing real-time measurements and decisions. Precision automation uses this data to control actuators, robots, and conveyors—ensuring accurate product handling, sorting, and quality control without manual intervention.

Intelligent data refers to structured, actionable insights from your production systems—such as defect trends, process performance, and predictive maintenance indicators. By analysing this data, you can reduce waste, improve quality, and optimise throughput.
