Precision Machine Vision at the Core
The integrated vision system ensures each production line meets stringent quality standards. Key capabilities include:
- Neck inspection circularity – Accurate measurement of blow-moulded component necks to detect ovality.
- Inclusion detection – Identification of unwanted particles or imperfections, with adjustable acceptance/rejection thresholds.
- Material thickness testing – A novel light-penetration method developed by ATEK and Profile Solutions, enabling quick, reliable, and threshold-based thickness assessments.
Real-time data is displayed on an intuitive user interface, giving operators a clear view of product quality and enabling immediate corrective actions.
Remote Commissioning for Faster Delivery
One standout achievement was the remote commissioning of all vision systems via a secure internet connection. This approach reduced downtime, accelerated deployment, and maintained seamless performance despite geographical distance.
Powered by Deep Learning
While traditional vision systems rely on predefined algorithms, the addition of deep learning opens new possibilities. By training neural networks with large datasets, the systems can detect subtle anomalies, spot defects traditional methods may miss, and adapt to complex inspection challenges.
